As we move out of summer and towards the winter months, a perfect opportunity arises. And that opportunity is to design your workouts so you look great when you uncover next summer.
While most women start by trying to tighten their stomachs, I always start by focusing on my legs. I want a pert posterior, shapely calves and definition on my quads. Who doesn’t right?

I’d highly recommend “Danielle Beausoleil’s Leg-Crushing Workout.” (The wide-stance Barbell Squat is a real killer but well worth the end results.)

I’m following this workout once every 4 weeks, and the dumbbell split jump is the one to watch on this one. Before you try doing it with weight, make sure you practice a few times first.
The single arm kettlebell swing will work all of your thigh muscles in a similar way to squats but with a real burn — make sure you start with low weights and build up to it.
Lastly, these 5 leg exercises from fitness magazines ‘hot legs workout’ will get your butt, quads, hamstrings and calves in shape in no time at all. It’s a tough workout, and I’m doing this on my other week.
