My jaw dropped in shock earlier this week, when one of my good friends Anna asked me how she could get more energy. The reason I was floored, is that Anna is a 32-year-old mum of two, follows a healthy lifestyle and finds time to exercise daily.
It got me thinking.
Many people ask me the same question , and my response is usually to make some recommendations for that person. But I consider Anna to be one of the healthiest people I know. If she felt like she needed more energy, then it would mean lots of other people are suffering from the same problem.
So, in this week’s post, I thought I’d share 3 of my favourite ways to power-up your energy levels…
1. Creatine Monohydrate
First, a shameless plug — because it downright works. There have been hundreds of clinical studies on this amazing supplement which significantly boosts energy. You can buy our Energy Boost, which is 100% Creapure® — a pure, vegan-friendly, laboratory synthesised form of Creatine Monohydrate.

2. Eat Energy Boosting Foods
If you regularly experience a lack of energy at a certain time of day, take special note of the last meal you ate and substitute the meal for an energy boosting one. [If you skipped a meal, add one in.]
This post titled “21 Healthy Foods for a Quick Energy Boost” suggests recipes for every mealtime, and for on-the-go snacks.
If you prefer to make your own recipes, try to incorporate some of these foods into your recipes.
3. Stop Your Internal Dialogue
One of the biggest problems we face in today’s society is increased demands on our time. We spend more of our ‘spare time’ on social media, in apps, and emailing. Our brains can feel “always on,” and the best way to combat this is by “resetting” your brain energy.
